Creative and technical brief prepared for the 3D animator producing VOXI's product animation video. This document explains the product, then lays out the questions we still need to answer together before production starts.
Photos and 3D models of the hardware, up front. Dimensions, materials and other notes are in Section 05.

These auto-load from this same folder when the page is served over local HTTP. Opened directly as a file (address bar starts with file://), browsers block that fetch for security — use the Load button instead, or run a one-line local server (e.g. npx serve . or python -m http.server in this folder, then open the http://localhost link it prints).
Large file — first render may take a moment.
Context for the animator — read this before anything else. This part is already confirmed; the sections below it are not.
VOXI is an AI note-taking device — think Plaud NotePin — that records real-world audio and turns it into transcripts you can run AI on.
Why this video exists and where it will be used — this drives every other decision below.
This video runs as paid ads and as the primary hero video on the landing page.
Who sees this and where — affects pacing, aspect ratio, and how much needs explaining on-screen.
Runs as paid ads. Target audience: doctors and business owners, 30+. Delivered in both 9:16 and 16:9.
Mood, references, and the adjectives that should describe the final render.
Retro ’80s. The device ships in a cassette-tape-shaped case, boxed like a VHS tape, with an ’80s advertising typeface ("Advercase") on packaging and titles.
What we know about the hardware today, and the design details still open.
We're a very small startup, so the material story matters. The first units are 3D-printed resin from JLCPCB — in black, white, and transparent. A brushed-aluminum version and a transparent-resin version are planned for later.
If possible, show that material range within the same video — at minimum, one pass in metal and one in resin.
Photos and 3D models of the case and PCB are up in the Quick Look section, right below the header.
What's actually locked today: the logo and the primary red. The rest is still being defined.
Sakura and beige are approximate — exact hex isn't locked yet, so any close equivalent works fine. Red is the one confirmed to the code above.
Japanese theme, company-wide. The Pinterest board (same one linked in Section 04) has plenty of reference for this — worth a second look here specifically for palette and materials.
Music, voiceover, and sound design direction.
80s theme. First choice is the music used on the @kxdlogos TikTok channel — if it can't be sourced/downloaded, Marcos can send the audio file directly.
Open to other options too — feel free to test alternatives (synthwave and similar) as long as it stays in the ’80s lane.
